কিশোরগঞ্জের শোলাকিয়ায় অনুষ্ঠিত হলো দেশের বৃহত্তম ঈদ জামাত

আমিনুল হক সাদী, কিশোরগঞ্জ:কঠোর নিরাপত্তাবলয়ের মধ্য দিয়ে কিশোরগঞ্জের শোলাকিয়ায় অনুষ্ঠিত হলো দেশের বৃহত্তম ১৯৭তম ঈদ জামাত। এবারে পাঁচ লাখের বেশি মুসল্লির উপস্থিতিতে জনস্রোতে পরিপূর্ণ হয়ে যায় ঐতিহাসিক শোলাকিয়ার মাঠ। মাঠের ভেতরের কাতার উপচে বাইরে রাস্তা ঘাট বাসা বাড়ির অলিগলিতেও কানায় কানায় পূর্ণ হয়ে যায় ঈদগাহ ময়দান। নামাজ শেষে মুনাজাতে বিশ্বশান্তি ও দেশের সমৃদ্ধি কামনা করে দোয়া করেন ইমাম বড় বাজার জামে মসজিদের খতিব মাও শোয়াইব বিন আব্দুর রউফ ।

বৃহস্পতিবার ভোরের আলো ফোটার আগেই নিরাপত্তার চাদরে ঢেকে ফেলা হয় শোলাকিয়া ও আশপাশের এলাকা। চার স্তরের নিরাপত্তাবেষ্টনী পার হয়ে মুসল্লিদের ঢুকতে হয় ঈদগাহ মাঠে। মাঠে প্রবেশের ক্ষেত্রে মুসুল্লিদের খানিকটা দেরি হয়। তারপরও সকাল ৯টার আগেই জনসমুদ্রে পরিণত হয় শোলাকিয়া। তবে নিরাপত্তার স্বার্থে ছাতা, লাঠিসোঁটা, দিয়াশলাই কিংবা লাইটার নিয়ে মাঠে প্রবেশে পুলিশের নিষেধাজ্ঞা ছিল। ফলে এসব রেখে মুসল্লিদের ঈদগাহে প্রবেশ করতে হয়েছে।

মুসল্লিদের ঢল শুরু হয় ভোর থেকেই। জেলা শহরের পূর্বপ্রান্তে নরসুন্দা নদীর তীরের এ ঈদগাহ মাঠে। ঈদগাহমুখী সব রাস্তাঘাট মুসল্লিদের চলাচলে কয়েক ঘণ্টার জন্য শহরের সড়কগুলোতে যানবাহন চলাচল বন্ধ করে দেয় আইনশৃঙ্খলা বাহিনী। জামাত শুরুর ঘণ্টাখানেক আগেই সাত একর আয়তনের শোলাকিয়া মাঠ কানায় কানায় ভরে যায়। মুসল্লিদের অনেককে মাঠে জায়গা না পেয়ে পার্শ্ববতী রাস্তা, তিনপাশের ফাঁকা জায়গা, নদীর পাড় ও আশপাশের বাসাবাড়ির ছাদে উঠে জামাতে শরিক হতে দেখা যায়।
পাঁচ লাখের বেশি মুসল্লি জামাতে অংশ নেন। নামাজ শুরুর আগে মুসল্লিদের স্বাগত জানিয়ে বক্তব্য রাখেন ঈদগাহ কমিটির সভাপতি ও জেলা প্রশাসক মোহাম্মদ আবুল কালাম আজাদ, পুলিশ সুপার মোহাম্মদ রাসেল শেখ,জেলা পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সভাপতি অ্যাডভোকেট জিল্লুর রহমান ও কিশোরগঞ্জ পৌরসভার মেয়র মাহমুদ পারভেজ মিয়া।

২০১৬ সালে জঙ্গি হামলার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে বাড়তি সতর্কতার অংশ হিসেবে শোলাকিয়ায় নেওয়া হয় নজিরবিহীন নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা। নিরাপত্তাকে সর্বোচ্চ গুরুত্ব দিয়ে সাজানো হয় পুরো আয়োজন। ঐতিহাসিক শোলাকিয়া ঈদগাহ ময়দানের নিরাপত্তায় এক হাজার ১১৬ পুলিশ সদস্য নিয়োজিত ছিলেন। তাদের মধ্যে পোশাকে ৮৮০ জন, সাদা পোশাকে ১৮৭ জন এবং ট্রাফিকের ৪৯ জন অফিসার ও ফোর্স মোতায়েন ছিল। এ ছাড়াও পাঁচ প্লাটুন বিজিবি, শতাধিক র‌্যাব সদস্য, আমর্ড পুলিশ ব্যাটালিয়ন ও আনসার সদস্যের সমন্বয়ে কঠোর নিরাপত্তা বলয়ের পাশাপাশি মাঠে সাদা পোশাকে নজরদারি করেন বিভিন্ন গোয়েন্দা সংস্থার সদস্যরা। মাঠে ছিল চারটি ড্রোন ক্যামেরা ও বাইনো কোলারসহ ছয়টি ভিডিও ক্যামেরা। ঢাকা থেকে এসেছিল বোম্ব ডিসপোজাল টিম। মাঠ ও শহরসহ প্রবেশপথগুলো সিসি ক্যামেরা দিয়ে সার্বক্ষণিক পর্যবেক্ষণ করা হয়। মাঠে স্থাপিত ছয়টি ওয়াচ টাওয়ার থেকে দুরবিন নিয়ে নিরপত্তার দায়িত্ব পালন করেন র‌্যাব ও পুলিশ সদস্যরা। সার্বক্ষণিক পুলিশের কুইক রেসপন্স টিম কাজ করেছে।

শোলাকিয়া মাঠ ও শহরের যত অলিগলি আছে, সবখানে বসানো হয় নিরাপত্তা চৌকি। তা ছাড়া অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিত ঘটনা এড়াতে ১০ জন নির্বাহী ম্যাজিস্ট্রেটও দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। ঈদগাহ এলাকায় তিনটি অ্যাম্বুলেন্সসহ বেশ কয়েকটি মেডিক্যাল টিম এবং অগ্নি নির্বাপক দলও মোতায়েন ছিল। স্বেচ্ছাসেবকের দায়িত্বে ছিলেন বিপুলসংখ্যক স্কাউট সদস্য। প্রত্যেক মুসল্লিকে মেটালডিটেক্টর দিয়ে তল্লাশি করে তারপর মাঠে প্রবেশ করানো হয়। শোলাকিয়া ঈদগাহ পরিচালনা কমিটির সভাপতি ও জেলা প্রশাসক মোহাম্মদ আবুল কালাম আজাদ বলেন, ‘এবারও পাঁচ লাখের বেশি মুসল্লি শোলাকিয়ায় নামাজ আদায় করেছেন বলে আমাদের ধারণা। এবারের জামাতের ব্যবস্থাপনা ছিল খুবই ভালো।
মাঠের সুনাম ও নানা জনশ্রুতির কারণে ঈদের কয়েক দিন আগেই কিশোরগঞ্জের প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চল ও সারা দেশের বিভিন্ন জেলা থেকে শোলাকিয়ায় মুসল্লিদের সমাগম ঘটে। তাদের অনেকেই উঠেছিলেন হোটেলে, কেউবা আত্মীয়-স্বজনের বাড়িতে ও শোলাকিয়া ঈদগাহ মিম্বরে।

শোলাকিয়ায় ঈদের জামাতে অংশগ্রহণকারী মুসল্লিদের যাতায়াতের সুবিধার্থে দুটি বিশেষ ট্রেন চলাচল করে। একটি ট্রেন ভৈরব থেকে সকাল ৬টায় ছেড়ে আসে এবং সকাল ৮টায় কিশোরগঞ্জ পৌঁছায়। অন্যটি ময়মনসিংহ থেকে সকাল পৌনে ৬টায় ছেড়ে আসে এবং সকাল সাড়ে ৮টায় কিশোরগঞ্জ পৌঁছায়। নামাজ শেষে জামাতে আসা যাত্রীদের নিয়ে আবার গন্তব্যে ফিরে যায় ট্রেন দুটি। দেশের বৃহত্তম এ ঈদ জামাতকে কেন্দ্র করে মাঠ ও পার্শ্ববর্তী এলাকায় হস্ত, কারু ও নানারকম শিল্পের মেলা মুসল্লিদের জন্য ছিল অন্যতম আকর্ষণের বিষয়। প্রায় সাত একর জায়গার মধ্যে অবস্থিত শোলাকিয়া ঈদগাহ মাঠের ইতিহাস নিয়ে অনেক প্রকার মত অভিমতও রয়েছে। মাঠের কে প্রকৃত প্রতিষ্ঠাতা তা নিয়ে মতানৈক্য থাকলেও সবার গর্বের বিষয় এ মাঠ শুধু কিশোরগঞ্জেরই না সারা বিশ্বের। শোলাকিয়া সাহেব বাড়ির সন্তান লেখক ডক্টর সৈয়দ আলী আজহার রচিত “ঐতিহাসিক শোলাকিয়া ঈদগাহ”গ্রন্থে উল্লেখ করেছেন, শোলাকিয়া সাহেব বাড়ির পূর্ব পুরুষ শাহ সুফী মরহুম সৈয়দ আহম্মেদ ১৮২৭ খ্রিষ্টাব্দের শোলাকিয়া সাহেব বাড়িতে সর্বপ্রথম একটি মসজিদ প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন এবং সুদূর ইয়েমেন থেকে আগত শোলাকিয়া ‘সাহেব বাড়ির পূর্বপুরুম সুফি সৈয়দ আহমেদ তার নিজস্ব তালুকে ১৮২৮ সালে নরসুন্দা নদীর তীরে তার প্রতিষ্ঠিত মাঠে ঈদের জামাতের আয়োজন করেন। ওই জামাতে ইমামতি করেন সুফি সৈয়দ আহমেদ নিজেই। মোনাজাতে তিনি মুসল্লিদের প্রাচুর্যতা প্রকাশে ‘সোয়া লাখ’ কথাটি ব্যবহার করেন। আরেক মতে, সেদিনের জামাতে ১ লাখ ২৫ হাজার (অর্থাৎ সোয়া লাখ) লোক জমায়েত হয়। ফলে এর নাম হয় ‘সোয়া লাখি’। পরবর্তীতে উচ্চারণের বিবর্তনে শোলাকিয়া নামটি চালু হয়ে যায়।

আবার কেউ কেউ বলেন, মোগল আমলে এখানে অবস্থিত পরগনার রাজস্বের পরিমাণ ছিল সোয়া লাখ টাকা। উচ্চারণের বিবর্তনে সোয়া লাখ থেকে সোয়ালাখিয়া সেখান থেকে শোলাকিয়া। পরবর্তিতে ১৯৫০ সালে স্থানীয় হয়বত নগরের জমিদার দেওয়ান মান্নান দাদ খাঁ এই ময়দানকে অতিরিক্ত ৪.৩৫ একর জমি দান করেন। ড.আয়শা বেগম রচিত ‘কিশোরগঞ্জের স্থাপত্যিক ঐতিহ্য’ গ্রন্থের ১১০ পৃষ্ঠায় উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে শোলাকিয়া ঈদগাহটি ১৮২৭ সালে ঈশা খানের ১২ তম পুরুষ জংগলবাড়ির জমিদার দেওয়ান আজিম দাদ খান ও রহমান দাদ খান প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। আরেক মতে হয়বতনগর সাহেব বাড়ির জমিদার শাহনেওয়াজ খা প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। অতপর সেই ময়দানে পরের বছর প্রথম বড় ঈদের জামায়াত অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ১৮২৮ সালে। এ জামাতে ইমামতি করেন শাহ সুফি সৈয়দ আহমদ।

অন্য আরেকটি মতে লেখক আমিনুল হক সাদীর একটি অভিমত খুবই গুরুত্বের দাবী রাখে তা হলো ১৮২১ খ্রিস্টাব্দের পর জৌনপুরের বিখ্যাত আলেম মাওলানা কেরামত আলী জৌনপুরী (রক্ত) হয়বতনগরে আগমন করেছিলেন। তিনি হয়বতনগরের তৎকালীন জমিদার দেওয়ান শাহ নেওয়াজ খানকে হোসেনী দালানের যাবতীয় কার্যক্রম বন্ধ করে দিয়ে মসজিদ হিসাবে দালানটি ব্যবহার করার অনুরোধ করেন। ফলশ্রুতিতে তিনি ইমামবাড়াটিকে মসজিদে রুপান্তরিত করেন। যেটি এখন হয়বত নগর সাহেব বাড়ি মসজিদ বলে ইতিহাসে পরিচিত পেয়েছে।

ইতিহাস ঘেঁটে জানা গেছে মাও. কারামত আলী হাজী শরীয়তউল্লাহ প্রবর্তিত ফরায়েজি আন্দোলনের বিরোধী ছিলেন। ফরায়েজিরা বিটিশ শাসিত ভারতবর্ষকে দারুল হরব হওয়ার অজুহাতে জুমা ও ঈদের নামাজ আদায় করত না। পক্ষান্তরে কারামত আলী মনে করতেন ভারতবর্ষ যদিও দারুল ইসলাম নয়, তবে দারুল হরবও নয়। বরং ভারতবর্ষ হচ্ছে দারুল আমান। কারণ বিটিশরা মুসলমানদেরকে স্বাধীনভাবে ধর্ম পালন করতে দেয়। এ বিষয়ে তিনি ফরায়েজিদের সাথে বিতর্ক করে তার মত প্রতিষ্ঠিত করতে সক্ষম হন। তাই হয়বতনগরের দেওয়ানদেরকে কারামত আলী সুন্নীতে রুপান্তরিত করে প্রকাশ্যে বড় ঈদ জামায়াতের আয়োজনেও প্রভাকর ভূমিকা পালন করেছিলেন বলেই সর্ব প্রথম সেই সময়ে সোয়া লাখ মানুষে একত্রিত হয়ে মাঠে ঈদ জামায়াত আদায় হয়েছিলো। আর এ কারণেই সোয়ালাখ থেকে কালের বিবর্তনে শোলাকিয়া নাম করণ হয়।

হয়বতনগরের শেষ জমিদার দেওয়ান মোঃ মান্নান দাদ খান ১৯৫০ সনে ঐতিহাসিক শোলাকিয়া ঈদগাহের নামে ২ একর ৩৫ শতাংশ জমি ওয়াকফ দলিল করেন। দলিল মতে ঐ সময়ের আরও ২শ বছর আগে অর্থাৎ ১৭৫০ সাল থেকে এ ঈদগাহে দুটি ঈদের জামায়াত অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে আসছিল। সে হিসেবে এ মাঠটি পৌনে তিন শ বছরের প্রাচীন প্রমার্নিত হয়। দলিলে তিনি আরও উল্লেখ করেছেন এর আগে এ মাঠের ওয়াকফ সম্পদে পূর্বের কোনো লিখিত দলিল না থাকায় বিধায় এবং লিখিত কোনো নিয়মাবলি না থাকায় কেন্দ্রীয় ওয়াকফ বিধান মতে উক্ত ওয়াকফ কমিশনার অফিসে নাম ভুক্ত করা যাচ্ছিল না বিধায় তিনি এ দলিল করে দিয়েছিলেন বলে উল্লেখ করেছেন। তিনি নিজেও এ মাঠের মুতাওয়াল্লী ছিলেন এবং তার পুর্ব পুরুষগণও মুতাওয়াল্লী ছিলেন বলে লিপিবদ্ধ রয়েছে। হয়বতনগর জমিদার বাড়ির তৎকালীন জমিদার সৈয়দ মোঃ আবদুল্লাহ ১৮২৯ সন হতে ১৯১২ সন পর্যন্ত এই শোলাকিয়া মাঠে ইমাম ছাড়াও তিনি এই ঈদগাহের মোতাওয়াল্লী ছিলেন। পর্যায়ক্রমে হয়বতনগর জমিদার পরিবার থেকে মোতাওয়াল্লী নিযুক্ত হয়ে আসছে। সর্বশেষ মোতাওয়াল্লী ছিলেন এই জমিদার পরিবারেরই সদস্য দেওয়ান ফাত্তাহ দাদ খান মঈন। বর্তমানে জেলা প্রশাসনের নিয়ন্ত্রণে মাঠ পরিচালনা হচ্ছে। ২০০৯ সাল থেকে শোলাকিয়া ঈদগাহ মাঠ কমিটির প্রশাসনের মাধ্যমে পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। বর্তমান কমিটিতে পদাধিকার বলে জেলা প্রশাসক মুহাম্মদ আবুল কালাম আজাদ সভাপতি ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক সদর উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার মো:আবু রাসেল দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন।
