নান্দাইলে গরু ছাগল চুরির ঘটনায় আটক ২

ময়মনসিংহের নান্দাইলে খামারগাওঁ গাতীপাড়া গ্রামে গরু ও ছাগল চুরির ঘটনায় রায়হান ও বজলুর রহমান নামে দুইজনকে আটক করেছে স্থানীয় এলাকাবাসী। বৃহস্পতিবার (২৪ জুন) দিবাগত রাতে উপজেলার চন্ডিপাশা ইউপির খামারগাওঁ গ্রামে গরু ও ছাগল চুরির ঘটনাটি ঘটে।
স্থানীয়রা জানান, বৃহস্পতিবার দিবাগত রাতে খামারগাওঁ গাতীপাড়া গ্রামের আব্দুল মান্নান মনু মিয়ার গোয়াল ঘর থেকে একটি বকনা গরু ও একটি ছাগল চুরি হয়ে যায়। ভোর ৪টার দিকে বিষয়টি টের পায় মনু মিয়ার পরিবারের লোকজন।
মনু মিয়া বলেন, এ বিষয়ে রায়হানকে সন্দেহ হলে তাকে সবাই চাপ দিলে সে চুরির বিষয়টি স্বীকার করে। সে জানায়, গরু ও ছাগল পাশের আব্দুল আলী ওরফে পিএলের বাড়িতে রেখেছে। বিষয়টি স্থানীয় ইউপি সদস্য হারুন অর রশিদকে জানালে গ্রাম পুলিশ সঙ্গে নিয়ে রায়হান ও বজলুকে গরু-ছাগলসহ উদ্ধার করে খামারগাওঁ ইউনিয়ন পরিষদে আটক রাখা হয়।
এ বিষয়ে ইউপি সদস্য হারুন অর রশিদ ঘটনার সত্যতা স্বীকার করে বলেন, রায়হান ছেলেটা একটু বোকা টাইপের,সে না বুঝেই এ কাজ করেছে। আজ শুক্রবার বিকেলে বিষয়টি মীমাংসার জন্য সালিস বসানোর কথা। তবে এর আগেই খবর পেয়ে পুলিশ এসে উদ্ধার হওয়া গরু-ছাগল ও আটককৃতদের থানায় নিয়ে যায়।
এ বিষয়ে নান্দাইল মডেল থানার ওসি মোহাম্মদ মিজানুর রহমান আকন্দ জানান,গরু ও ছাগল চুরির ঘটনায় দুইজনকে থানায় নিয়ে আসা হয়েছে। এ বিষয়ে মামলা হয়নি।
