ময়মনসিংহে এডিস মশার লার্ভা পাওয়ায় আবারও জরিমানা
শহর প্রতিনিধি ঃ ডেঙ্গু প্রতিরোধে নিয়মিত কার্যক্রমের অংশ হিসেবে পরিচালিত ময়মনসিংহ সিটি কর্পোরেশনের ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালত এডিস মশার লার্ভা পাওয়ায় ১৭ আগষ্ট মঙ্গলবার নতুনবাজার এলাকার দুই ভবন মালিককে মোট ১৫ হাজার টাকা জরিমানা করা হয়েছে।
নির্বাহী ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট শাকিল আহমেদ পরিচালিত ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালত এ জরিমানা করেন। উল্লেখ্য, এডিস মশার লার্ভা পাওয়ায় গত ০২ মাসে এ নিয়ে প্রায় অর্ধলক্ষ টাকা জরিমানা করেছে মসিক ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালত।
এ সময় উপস্থিত প্রধান স্বাস্থ্য কর্মকর্তা ডাঃ এইচ কে দেবনাথ বলেন, ডেঙ্গু প্রতিরোধে সচেষ্ট রয়েছে ময়মনসিংহ সিটি কর্পোরেশন। ইতোমধ্যে ক্রাশ প্রোগ্রাম পরিচালনা, ফগিং, স্প্রে ছিটানো, মাইকিং, লিফলেট বিতরন সহ বাসাবাড়ি ও প্রতিষ্ঠানে এডিস মশার লার্ভা পাওয়া গেলে তা ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালতের আওতায় আনা হচ্ছে। মাননীয় মেয়র মোঃ ইকরামুল হক টিটু এ বিষয়ে নিয়মিত নির্দেশনা প্রদান করছেন। আমরা তাঁর নেতৃত্ব অন্যান্যবারের মত এ বছরও ডেঙ্গু প্রতিরোধে সফল হবো বলে প্রত্যাশা রাখি।
অভিযানকালে মেডিকেল অফিসার ডাঃ তাসমিয়া জান্নাত, নগর পরিকল্পনাবিদ মানস বিশ্বাস, খাদ্য ও স্যানিটেশন কর্মকর্তা দীপক মজুমদার প্রমুখ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
