ময়মনসিংহে মারামারি থামাতে গিয়ে নিজেই নিহত
শহর প্রতিনিধি ঃ ময়মনসিংহ নগরীর ৩২ নং ওয়ার্ডের চরকালি শম্ভুগঞ্জ টোলপ্লাজার সামনে গত শনিবার ১১ নভেম্বর সন্ধ্যায় আব্দুর রাজ্জাক রাকিব (২৩) নামে এক যুবক নিহত হওয়ার খবর পাওয়া গেছে । তুচ্ছ ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র করে দুই পক্ষের মারামারি থামাতে গেলে নিজেই ছুরিকাঘাতে খুন হলেন রাকিব ।
প্রতিবাদে বিক্ষুব্ধ লোকজন দুইঘন্টা সড়ক অবরোধ করে রাখে। নিহত রাকিব নগরীর ৩২ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের চরকালীবাড়ী এলাকার মৃত উসমান গণির ছেলে। সন্ধ্যা সাড়ে ৭টার দিকে রাকিবকে ছুরিকাঘাত করলে তাকে উদ্ধার করে ময়মনসিংহ মেডিকেল কলেজ হাপাসাতালে নিয়ে গেলে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন।
নিহতের মামা মামুন মিয়া বলেন, রাকিব বাড়ি থেকে শহরে যাচ্ছিল। পথে দুই পক্ষের মারামারি শুরু হলে সে তাদের থামানোর জন্য এগিয়ে যায়। ওই সময় তাকে ছুরিকাঘাত ও রড দিয়ে পিটিয়ে গুরুতর আহত করে। পরে হাসপাতালে আনা হলে ডাক্তার মৃত ঘোষণা করে।
স্থানীয়রা জানায় গাড়ির সাইড দেওয়া নিয়ে বিবাদে জড়ায় দুইপক্ষ । গাড়ি থেকে নেমে দুই গাড়ির লোকজন বিবাদে জড়ালে কাছে থাকা রাকিবসহ কয়েকজন তাদের নিভৃত করতে গেলে হত্যার ঘটনাটি ঘটে।
ময়মনসিংহ কোতোয়ালি মডেল থানা পুলিশের পরিদর্শক ওসি তদন্ত আনোয়ার হোসেন বলেন,দুই পক্ষের বিবাদে একজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এলাকার লোকজন সড়ক অবরোধ করলে পরে পুলিশ পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণ আনে।
এ ঘটনায় জড়িতদের সনাক্ত ও গ্রেপ্তারে কাজ চলছে বলে কোতোয়ালী ওসি শাহ কামাল আকন্দ জানান।
রাকিবের চাচা সাগর বলেন যে গাড়ীর সন্ত্রাসীরা তার ভাতিজাকে হত্যা করেছে
এই গাড়ীর ড্রাইভারকে ধরতে পারলেই হত্যাকারীদের দ্রুত ধরা যাবে।
