বিএমএসএফ এর উদ্যোগে ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের সাংবাদিকদের অনলাইন প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত
শহর প্রতিনিধি ঃ সঠিক তথ্য তুলে ধরার মধ্য দিয়ে সর্বস্তরের মানুষের মধ্যে সচেতনতা সৃষ্টির পাশাপাশি করোনার সংবাদ সংগ্রহকালে সাংবাদিকদেরকেও সতর্ক ও সচেতন থাকতে হবে। যাতে করে নিজেরাই ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত না হন। অনলাইন ট্রেনিং কোর্স অন কভিড নাইনটিন ফর জার্নালিষ্ট বিষয়ক প্রশিক্ষন কর্মশালায় বক্তরা এসব কথা বলেন।
আজ মঙ্গলবার অনলাইনে জুম সংযোগের সকাল ১০ টা থেকে দুপুর ১ টা পর্যন্ত অনুষ্ঠিত প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মশালায় ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের ময়মনসিংহ ও নেত্রকোনা জেলা’র প্রায় অর্ধশত কর্মরত সাংবাদিক অংশ গ্রহন করেন। বক্তারা বলেন, সমাজের সম্মুখভাগের যোদ্ধা হিসেবে সাংবাদিকদেরকে মাঠ পর্যায়ে কাজ করতে হয়। সে কারণে, করোনার মতো অদৃশ্য জীবানুর বিরুদ্ধে নিজেদের নিরাপত্তার জন্য সংবাদ সংগ্রহকালে যথাযথভাবে মাস্ক ব্যবহার ও স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে চলা জরুরী।
যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের জন্স হপকিন্স ইউনিভার্সিটি’র (জেএইচইউ), সেন্টার ফর কমিউনিকেশন প্রোগ্রামস (সিসিপি) ও উজ্জীবন কর্মসূচির যৌথ উদ্যোগে বাংলাদেশ মানবাধিকার সাংবাদিক ফোরাম (বিএমএসএফ) দেশের ৮ বিভাগের ৫০০ সাংবাদিককে সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে প্রশিক্ষন দেয়ার কর্মসূচী গ্রহন করেছে। তারই ধারাবাহিকতায় আজ ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের ময়মনসিংহ, নেত্রকোনা, জামালপুর ও শেরপুর জেলা’র সাংবাদিকসহ নারী সাংবাদিক সংঘ নাসাস এর নারী সাংবাদিকদের নিয়ে এই প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মশালা অনুষ্টিত হয়।
কোর্সটির সামগ্রিক দিক নির্দেশনা প্রদান করছেন উজ্জীবন বাংলাদেশ এর চীফ অব পার্টি ডা: কাজি ফয়সাল মাহমুদ ও সমন্বয় করছেন আউটরিচ কর্মকর্তা এএফএম ইকবাল। বিএমএসএফ-এর মহাসচিব খায়রুজ্জামান কামালের সার্বিক তত্বাবধানে প্রকল্পটি সমন্বয় করছেন সিনিয়র সাংবাদিক ও বিএমএসএফ-এর মিডিয়া রিলেশন কো-অর্ডিনেটর সৈয়দ সফি।
